The site designed for GGSSI gives the user the option of entering a Flash site or an HTML site.

A Flash site offers animated graphics and has more control over the look of the site. Usually Flash sites are targeted at High Speed Users (DSL and Cable) due to the fact that they are graphic and animation intensive. A disadvantage of Flash sites is that search engines find it difficult to find.

There are solutions to this, and one is to design both a Flash and an HTML version of the site and give the user the option to enter either when they come upon the first page. This is what we did with the GGSSI site. The above slide represents what the HTML version looks like.
